The following obituary appeared in the May 20, 2001, edition of the Leaf Chronicle (Clarksville, Tennessee): Dorothy K. "Dottie" Margison, 78, Cunningham, died Friday, May 18, 2001, at her residence. The graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Dr. Billy Smith officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9 a.m. to noon at the McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. She was born June 8, 1922, in Tateville, Ky., daughter of Robert B. and Iva Brown Stout. She is the widow of Russell Margison. Mrs. Margison was a retired restaurant owner and a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include five daughters, Shirley Stein, Cincinnati, Dottie Golf, Hamilton, Ohio, Ina Jo Thomas, Lafayette, Ind., Margaret Stein, Mount Vernon Ky., and Charlene McLaughlin, Cunningham; a brother Robert Stout, Dry Ridge, Ky; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Family will serve as pallbearers.
