The following obituary appeared in the May 20, 2001, edition of the Salt Lake (Utah) Tribune: Jeannie Ann Stout Sunday, May 20, 2001 Jeannie Ann Stout, 75, died May17, 2001 at Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veteran's Hospital, Loma Linda, CA. A native of Chicago, IL, she lived in Highland, CA for 14 years. She was a student at the University of Utah for many years, graduating with degrees in English and Li-brary Mange-ment. She was a member of the 1st Women's Air Force Squadron, 1948-1952; Women In Military Service Association (WIMSA); Civil Air Patrol; San Gorgonio Chap-ter of American Association of University Women; San Bernardino Historical Society; Highland Congregational Church; and a volunteer at Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans' Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col. Robert Stout, Highland, CA; daughter, Victoria Stanger, Walnut, CA; son, Evan J. Fowles, Baker, NV; three stepsons, Kevin Stout, Encinitis, CA; Bryan Stout, Tucson, AZ; Bruce Stout, San Bernadino, CA; six Stanger grandchildren; and eight Stout grand-children. Visitation will be Monday, May 21, 3-7 p.m. and services will be Tues. May 22, 4 p.m. both at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA.
