I've been told that James Stout, father of John Henry and Wm. B., went with his younger brother, John (that would be my line) to Illinois @ 1807. I'm a little confused as to where they were born, however. I have two listings for John H.: Logan Co., VA. and Tenn. On one of the census records, James M. Stout (John's son) lists the place of birth for his father as Tenn. There is suppose to be about 15 years difference between the birth of James Stout and his younger brother, John. I'm fairly sure they didn't stay 15 years in Tenn. Can you shed some light on this?
