The following obituary appeared in the March 23, 2001, edition of the Houston (Texas) Chronicle: MRS. MARION ELISE STOUTE, 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 21, 2001. She was born September 30, 1916. She is preceded in death by her husband Cyril and daughter Flora. She is survived by her son Peter and wife Patricia, daughters, Marion Rooney, Patsy Carrington and husband Stanley, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Mass to be held at Christ the Good Shepard Catholic Church, 18511 Klein Church Road, Spring, at 2:00 pm Friday, March 23, 2001. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Stone Croft Ministries or the American Heart Association.
