The following obituary appeared in the February 24, 2001, edition of the Medford (Oregon) Mail-Tribune: E. Eileen Adams E. Eileen Adams, 70, of Medford, died Wednesday (Feb. 21, 2001) at her home. No service is planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the Medford Gospel Mission, 125 W. Jackson, Medford, OR 97501, or Providence Community Health Foundation, Hospice, 1111 Crater Lake Ave., Medford, OR 97504. She was born May 8, 1930, in Lucas, Kan., the daughter of George and Elsie Stout. On July 19, 1947, in Medford, she married Monroe McGonagle, who preceded her in death. In 1974, in Medford, she married George Ross Adams, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker. She lived in the Rogue Valley all her life. She was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Dwight McGonagle, Yakima, Wash.; three stepdaughters, Nancy Adams Payton, Trail, Joy Adams Bodell, Ojai, Calif., and Tudy cq Adams Maddox, Ashland; a brother, George Stout, White City; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandchild.
