McGrath Louise McGrath, 92, went home to be with the Lord on April 12, 2001 in Puyallup. She was born in Clay City, Indiana to Elmer and Edith Stout on June 11, 1908. Orphaned before 11, she took her first full-time job by the age of 13, starting a life of independence that would continue until her last days. Truly a pioneer, Louise's life took her on many adventures work- ing many different positions, from public relations for Hank Williams, Jr. to door-to-door saleswoman traveling across this country. However, Louise's true love in life was her family. Beginning in 1969, she resided with her daughter Virginia Keasey (deceased in 1993), her son-in-law Kenneth (deceased in 1989), and her granddaughter Michelle. This part of her life took her around the world with the U.S. Air Force. Her last years were spent with her friends at Harborview and enjoying the love of her family, including Michelle and Kurt Root and her great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jamie, all of Puyallup. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, April 19th at Fir Lane Memorial Park, Spanaway.
