The following obituary appeared in the April 11, 2001, edition of the Fremont (Michigan) Times-Indicator: CLAYTON STOUT Fremont Clayton "Bill"- Stout, 91, of Fremont, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2001 at Transitional Health Services in Fremont. He was born on March 30, 1910 in Fremont to Louis and Goldie (Dake) Stout and married Virginia Dresser on Oct. 2, 1937 in Fremont. She preceded him in death on June 8, 1990, and they had been married for 53 years at the time of her passing. Bill worked as a production worker at Gerber Products Company until his retirement in 1972 at the age of 62. He had also been a farmer all his life and continued to farm his land until his passing. I He is survived by his children, June (Robert) Dusenberry of Bradenton, Florida, Nancy (Michael) Hannahs of Fremont, Goldie (Lee) Host of Fremont, Warren Stout of Muskegon, Earl (Gladys) Stout of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Clyde A. (Ann) Stout of Vanderbilt, and Loris Edward Stout of Fremont; 11 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Bamhard of Fairborn, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Lorna Bonney of Chicago, Illinois and Sabrey Clabaugh of California; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Myrtle, Ethel, and Nilah; and brothers, Jake and Clarence. Funeral services were held on April 6 at Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont with interment in East Hesperia Cemetery. Friends may consider the American Cancer Society for memorial contributions.
