Surnames: Stout, Foust Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/QKQBAIB/2086 Message Board Post: I am looking for any information on Philip Stout who came from North Carolina to Ohio in the early 1800s; his son, also named Philip, was born 10/25/1823 in Ohio, and married Julia Ann Foust 11/2/1843 in Richland Co., Ohio. Julia lived in Perry Twp. in what is now Morrow Co., Ohio. Philip and Julia moved to Waltz Twp., Wabash Co., Indiana, in 1844 and remained there the rest of their lives. Philip Jr. died 10/15/1875; I have a lot of information on him and his family. However, it is his father, the older Philip Stout, that I need help with. He may be the Philip Stout in the 1840 census for Morven Twp., Marion Co., Ohio (now Cardington Twp., Morrow Co.), but this is only a guess.
