I recently got some books on taxation and Militia fines in various counties in Pennsylvania and found the following Stouts. In Berks County: Jacob 2 times, Daniel, Abraham 4 times, John, Geown, George W. I am sure there are more as all the spelling is phonic. The militia fines are for not showing up for excerises and other reasons. The time frame if 1777 the 1784. Jack
