    3. The following obituary appeared in the November 2, 2001, edition of the Times Herald-Record of Middletown, New York: MARJORIE S. BURNHAM Cooks Falls, N.Y. Marjorie S. Burnham, of Cooks Falls, a homemaker and lifelong area resident, died Wednesday October 31, 2001, at the Roscoe Community Nursing Home, Roscoe. She was 93. The daughter of the late Harry and Nellie E. Edwards Stout, she was born October 30, 1908 in the Town of Colchester. Marjorie was a communicant of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Downsville; a member of the Cooks Falls- Horton Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Cooks Falls; a former member of the Roscoe-Rockland Senior Citizens, Roscoe; a former member of the Sullivan County Home Extension; a former member of the Roscoe and the Downsville Grange; for many years, she was a Sullivan County 4-H leader, she enjoyed and was an avid quilter. Survivors include her daughter, Nellie Burnham of Roscoe; two sons, Frank Burnham and his wife Betty of New Paltz, and Richard Burnham and his wife Monty of Washington DC; four grandchildren; two great granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Irving Burnham who died on March 23, 1992. Memorial services will be held on Saturday November 10, 2001, at 11 a.m. in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave., Roscoe. The Rev. James Clarke will officiate. Burial will be in the Cooks Falls Cemetery, Cooks Falls. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary's Church, Downsville, N.Y. 13755, the R & R Vol. Ambulance Corp., Roscoe, N.Y. 12776 or a charity of one's choice. Arrangements were made by the Harris Funeral Home, Roscoe.
