The following obituary appeared in the July 31, 2001, edition of The Citizen of Laconia, New Hampshire: Donald Stout EPSOM — Donald Stout, 71, died July 28, 2001, in Catholic Medical Center, Manchester. Born in Leominster, Mass., on Dec. 10, 1929, he was the son of Harry and Sara (Van Wagenen) Stout. He graduated from Leominster High School in Massachusetts. During the Korean War he served as a corpsman in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Stout worked more than 30 years in the financial business. In addition, he served as a police officer and security officer for the New Hampshire Court System. He was a 30-year member of St. Andrew Lodge F&AM, Portsmouth. Family members include his wife of 48 years, Priscilla (Smith) of Epsom; a daughter, Meredith Ritchie of Weare; three sons, F. Webster Stout of Canterbury, Jonathan Stout of New Boston, and Andrew Stout of Webster; six grandchildren; two brothers, Franklin Stout of Ashburnham, Mass., and Harold Stout of Hancock; nieces and nephews.
