    3. ------- Forwarded message follows ------- Date sent: Sat, 30 Jun 2001 18:12:23 -0600 From: "Kim Day" <[email protected]> To: "Stout List" <[email protected]> Subject: {not a subscriber} Obituary: Ray STOUT The following obituary appeared in the June 26, 2001, edition of the News-Gazette of Urbana, Illinois: The News-Gazette, Champaign, IL; 6/26/01 LODA -- Ray Stout, 89, of Loda died at 2:10 p.m. Monday (June 25, 2001) at the Care Centre of Urbana. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Loda United Methodist Church. The Rev. John Hauck will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Loda. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford-Baier Funeral Home, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Mr. Stout was born Nov. 6, 1911, at Tolono, a son of Bert and Edith Keller Stout. He married Mary Presselli on May 24, 1942, in Rantoul. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Rudi Stout of Salem, Ore., and Earl Stout of Paxton; a brother, Neal Stout of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Bernelle Stephens of Fairfield, Conn.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother. Mr. Stout attended Rantoul schools. He farmed in the Loda area from 1945 until retirement in 1980. He was a member of the Loda Lions Club, Loda United Methodist Church, and was a founding member of Loda Fire Protection District. He was also a former member of the Iroquois County School Board.
