Stout, 83, of Toledo, and formerly of Mount Blanchard, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Stombaugh Memorial Funeral Home, Carey, the Rev. Mark Burden officiating. Burial will be in Zion Bloom Cemetery, Vanlue. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Stout died at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999 at his daughter's home in Toledo, where he resided the past two and a half years. He was born April 23, 1916 in Wharton to Charles L. and Mary E. (Kachele) Stout. He married Martha L. Presler on Aug. 28, 1940 in Wharton and she died July 5, 1997. He is survived by a son, Jerrold L. of Mount Blanchard; a daughter, Mrs. Lee (Donna S.) Talamantez, Toledo; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six sisters, Esther L. Gallaway, Westerville; Edith L. Walters, Mansfield; Mary E. Truman, Toledo; Ann Baker, Upper Sandusky; Louise Laucher, Delaware; and Jane E. Pierce, Tucson, Ariz.; and a brother, Henry A. of Vienna, W.Va. He was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene R. Evans; and three brothers, Russell L., George S. and RobertE. Mr. Stout was retired from Highway Concrete Pipe Co. in Findlay, and was also a part-time farmer in the Vanlue area. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Vanlue, and an honorary member of Vanlue High School FFA.
