The following obituary appeared in the June 30, 2001, edition of the Times-Union of Indiana: North Manchester -- Elizabeth L. Stouder (sic), 68, of 405 W. Main St., Silver Lake, died at 10 p.m. June 28, 2001, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born Feb. 20, 1933, in Vernon, to Raymond and Cecil Hupp Mitchell. On Aug. 1, 1959, she married Robert W. Stout, who survives. She was a charge nurse at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, for 15 years and a member of Silver Sixties Home Ec Club, Silver Lake. Other survivors include a son, Robert A. Stout, Columbus; a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Cheryl) Allen, North Manchester; two brothers, William C. Mitchell, Greensburg, and Warren J. Mitchell, Columbus; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Velma) Prencarage, Levittown, Pa.; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Morbitzer officiating. Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
