The following obituary appeared in the June 28, 2001, edition of the Charlston (West Virginia) Daily Mail: Joretta Ann Womack Stout, 53, of St Albans, passed away June 25,2001, in St. Francis Hospital, Charleston. She was born September 9, 1947 in Hurricane, WV, the daughter of the late Vernon D. and Kendall Lee Sovine Womack. She was a member of Forest Burdette Methodist Church, Hurricane. She is survived by tthree daughters, Michelle Trail and Lisa Stout, both of St. Albans,and Debbie Lee of Cross Lanes. three grandsons, Joshua Stout, Tyler Lee and Nicholas Trail. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Keith Leap officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
