The following obituary appeared in the June 10, 2001, edition of the Elizabethton (Tennessee) Standard: MILLER -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mable B. Miller, 84, 1228 Thomas Blvd., Elizabethton, who died Thursday, June 7, 2001, were conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2001, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, with the Revs. Bobby Stout and Haskel Ingram officiating. Music was under the direction of Pleasant Beach Baptist Church Choir, Pleasant Beach Baptist Church Quartet and Tawana Holland. Graveside services and interment will be at 9 a.m. Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Paul Lane, Gordon Lewis, Pat Smith, Tommy Vaughn, and Arvin "Toad" Ketchem. Honorary pallbearers will be Elmer Garland, Raymond Tolley, J.C. Honeycutt, the Rev. Bob Polk and Ron Royce. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 8:55 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2001, for the graveside services.
