    3. The following obituary appeared in the September 12, 2001, edition of the Muskegon (Michigan) Chronicle: MR. CLARENCE STOUT 09/12/01 STOUT, MR. CLARENCE D. ``CLANCY'' Lakewood Club Mr. Stout, age 79, died September 11, 2001. Born July 28, 1922, in Hornbeek, TN, to John and Leannah (Floyd) Stout, he had lived in the area for many years. On February 26, 1944, in Muskegon, he married the former Maxine McMahon and had been a long-time truck driver for Wolverine Express and later for McLean Trucking. He was a founder and member of Fox Lake Rod & Gun Club. Mr. Stout was preceded in death by a son, Steve Stout, and 2 sisters, Geneva Bowen and Myra Pierce. FAMILY His wife, Maxine; a daughter, Cindy (Bill) Kody of Lakewood Club; a son, Mike (Becky) Stout of Lakewood Club; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Cordelia Beaird of TN. SERVICE Tomorrow, Thursday, September 13, 2001, at 11 AM, from Clock Chapel-Whitehall with the Mr. Claude Hogle officiating. Interment will be made in Oakland Cemetery, Dalton Township. VISITING HOURS Tomorrow, Thursday, 10 AM to service time, at the funeral home in Whitehall.
