The following obituary appeared in the October 7, 2001, edition of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls (Iowa) Courier: Waterloo -- Claudia A. Losee, 79, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Oct. 3 at her home of natural causes. She was born Dec. 2, 1921, in Mansfield, Mo., daughter of Claude and Susan Spragg Stout. She married Paul Losee Feb. 18, 1939, in Waterloo. He died Nov. 3, 1985. Survived by: a daughter, Paula Abbott of Waterloo; four grandchildren; and give great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: a son and daughter in infancy; two brothers in infancy; and a sister, Mary Buchholz. Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Chapel of Memories, with burial in Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today and for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home. Memorials: may be directed the family.
