The following obituary appeared in the July 12, 2001, edition of the Washington (DC) Post: STOUT, EDWARD FORRESTER, SR. (Age 66) Of Lakeridge, VA died on Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at Fairfax Hospital. Born in Lopez, PA, he served in the U.S. Airforce. Retired from PEPCO. A member of Woodbridge American Legion and Moose Lodge No. 583. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Stout; a daughter, Carol Shoemaker of Lorton, VA and a son, Edward Stout, Jr of Fredericksburg, VA and Virginia Stout, their mother; two stepsons, Victor Snell of Warsaw, VA and Timothy Snell of Fulton, MD; three sisters, Anna Streisel of Mount Pocono, PA, Arlene Pranzonie of Tobyhanna, PA and Margie Rooker of Hughesville, PA; two brothers, Steven Stout of Bangor of ME and Kenneth Stout of Williamsport, PA; two grandchildren and five step grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Stout and one brother and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at Central Baptist Church on Minnieville Road, Dale City, VA on Monday, July 16 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
