I also have Job Bray Stout (b. abt 1805) as the son of Abner Stout & Rebecca Ireland based on Richard Stout Descendants in West Virginia (recently reprinted as descendants of Jonathan II and David II). However, I also have an abstracted will record from Harrison Co. WV Will Book 6, p. 78, Family History Library Film no. 0,847,162 for Abner Stout that does not mention a son, Job Bray Stout. This wil lis dated 11 July 1850, and was proved on 9 Aug 1850, mentioned "present" wife, Rebecca and named children Celia, Sarah Ann Thompson, Susannah Basil, Abner Stout, William Stout and Noah W. Stout. According to Stout & Allied Families by Herald F. Stout, it disposed of a considerable estate. Son Abner to be trustee for Noah W. who was "financially embarassed." Executors: sons, Abner and William; son-in-law, Byron G. Basil. It seems like Job should have been mentioned since he was listed in the 1850 census. There is also a will in Harrison co., VA for Rebecca Stout, dated 19 March 1874 which leaves property to E.D. & Susan Knisely and to Jane Rider. Abner is listed in the 1850 census in Harrison co., VA. He is 71 years old, a farmer, born VA, with real property worth $5,500. He is listed with Rebecca (age 59, born VA), Abner (age 25, born VA); Rebecca (age 23, born VA) and Nancy (age 20, born VA). In Doddridge co. in the 1850 census is Job B. Stout (age 45, farmer, real property worth $1,000) with Sarah (age 49); Harriet M. (age 20), Doraper? C. (age 14) and Abner A. (age 12), all persons born in Virginia. I have the following children listed for Abner & Rebecca (who married Aug. 25, 1804 in Harrison co., VA): Job B. (1805-) M.
