Jonathan is a fairly common name in my STOUTs. My ggg-grandmother Ruth (STOUT) HART had a brother named Jonathan, born in 1782 in New Jersey, who moved to Dryden, Tompkins Co., Ny around 1809. Seneca County is right next door. I also have a cousin, descended from Timothy HART, brother of my ggg-grandfather Amos HART, looking for the surname BLISS. Maybe she'll be able tohelp you.
