The following obituary appeared in the March 11, 2001, edition of the Newark (Ohio) Advocate: NEIL J. STOUT Feb. 17, 1933-March 8, 2001 A Mass of Christian Burial for Neil J. Stout, 80, of Johnstown, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Church at Westerville, 313 N. State St., Westerville, with Father Richard E. Stout officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown. Mr. Stout, who was employed by Technical International for 40 years as vice president and general manager, died March 8, 2001, at Gulf Coast Hospital in Ft. Myers, FL. He was born Feb. 17, 1933, in Columbus, to the late Edwin and Ethel Eden Stout. Mr. Scott attended Saint Vincent College and was a member of St. Paul Church at Westerville. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Fohl Stout of Johnstown; sons, David N. (Robin Fleagan) Stout of Parkersburg, WV, William R. (Karen Kessler) of Hamilton, Mont., Vincent J Stout of Blacklick; daughter, Joann (Robert E. Jr.) DeVault of Johnstown; brother, Father Richard E. Stout of Kenya, Africa, and eight grandchildren.
