The following obituary appeared in the January 25, 2001 edition of The Madill Record (Madill, Marshall County, Oklahoma - Lake Texoma Area): Graveside services for Tommie Iceola STOUT, 91, were Jan. 23 in Woodberry-Forest Cemetery. She died Jan. 20 in a hospital in Ardmore. Daughter of the late William Lowery Maddox and Rena Bell Smithers Maddox, she was born Jan. 27, 1909 in Hollis. She was a long time resident of the Cumberland area, living there since the age of six. She married Joe STOUT in 1925 in Marshall County. He preceded her in death Dec. 6, 1941. Family and friends note STOUT was dearly loved and will be missed. Surviving are: children, Joe and Jimmie, both of Madill and Roy Donald STOUT of El Dorado, Calif., and Wilma Turner of Madill; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren, and niece Bernice Long of Madill.
