The following appeared in the January 14, 2001, edition of the Delaware (Ohio) Gazette: Donald A. Stout, 69, of Delaware, died Saturday (Jan 13, 2001) at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was born August 16, 1931, in Delaware, to Lucille (Bishop) Stout and Paul Stout. A graduate of Bellpoint High School, he resided in Delaware for most of his life. He was a roofer. Mr. Stout was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and AMVETS. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Dale Davies of Apopka, Fla.; two grandchildren, Matthew and Tricia Davies of Apopka; three sisters, Dorothy Acker, Rosemary Mardis and Patricia Coffman all of Delaware; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and JoAnne Stout of Lady Lake, Fla., and Larry and Hazel Stout of Summerfield, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Anne Jones; a brother, Paul Stout; and three brothers-in-law, Carl Acker, Floyd Mardis and Frank Coffman. Visiting hours will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home, where prayer vigil will be held at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin Kavanaugh officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 82 E. William St., Delaware, OH 43015.
