    3. I have been following the emails on the Stouts, and it seems there are a lot of people that does not find much information available. I have the book 'The History of the Stout Family. It is 49 pages. I do not want to send the pages, but I will have to do it in email. I hope somebody will find their ancestors in this information. Mary

You may be able to get acccess at your public libarary - check if they have Heritage Quest on-line. If so, you should be able to view the book. On page 37 I find a Richard Stout who married Anne Tenbrook on 11/20/1751 in Middlestown, NJ (Monmouth County, NJ) and I see where the name TeNbrook (you show TeMbrook) - is passed along to sons - sometimes as a middle name. Have you checked the 1840 census for Carhart Stout? Happy Hunting, Kathie

A few families up on the same page was Carhart Stout age 46, born NJ., a clerk, along with wife Catherine, age 32, son Remsen age 18, Tembrook age 16, Hiram age 14, Burk age 12, John age 10 and Caroline age 2, all born NJ. I have not been able to locate members of this family in later census reports. Have I misinterpited the spelling of the names. I would appreciate any additional info on the family.

Stout, age 10 – Eddis R. Stout, age 9, and Blanche L. Stout, age 7”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in about 1915, and the children look to be about 10, 9 and 7 in the photo. I found this family in the 1910 census for Lynn (Knox Co.) IL, and they were living with their father Bennie, age 27, a widow – and with the children’s maternal grandparents, Samuel and Amanda Goodheart. Bennie is listed as their son in law in the 1910 census, and the children were 5, 4 and 1. In SSDI, I found Carl F. was born 31 Mar 1905 and Eddis R. was born 22 Aug 1906. They lived in Galva/Kewanee (Henry Co.) IL. Blanche is listed as having later married a Mr. Collis. Email me at margerice@prodigy.net if you are related to this family.
