Hi, I am looking for two brothers born between 1920 and 1930 in or near Chicago area. Father attend Northwestern mother may have too. There father was George A. Stout he and his wife got a divorce before 1930. George remarried and had four more boys. We are searching for Donald and John who may still be living. There half brothers would like to find them. Hello everyone! I am new to the list and have only seen obituaries posted. Are we allowed to post queries as well? If so, I would like to inquire if anyone on the list is related to Samuel STOUT who was born in Aug. of 1898 in Barren Co, KY. He married Dovie MAYO and together they had Wendell, born 17 March 1903 in KY. I am helping a friend with this research. He is looking for stories to pass down to his children. She was married to William Dreger, he preceded her in death. Carol had been employed by Zehnder's of Frankenmuth for many years. Surviving are 2 grandchildren Danielle and Charlie Sanders of Frankenmuth; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Carol was preceded in death by her daughter Sherry Sanders in 1996. According to VanScoy-Knapp family reunion records, Mary STOUT was born 21 May 1870. She married 20 October 1894 Wilbur J. CHARVILLE (1868-1917), son of --- Charville and Celia J. FISH (1844-1912). (Celia Fish was probably born in Huron County, Ohio.) She died in 1946 and was buried in the North Monroeville Cemetery, Huron County, Ohio. They had two children: Hazle J. (b 1897) and Jud D.(b 1898). I am unable to locate her in the 1951 Stout and Allied Families by Herald F. Stout. I'm looking for the names of her parents. Frances Van Scoy [email protected]

Stout, 61, of Albany died Monday at Albany General Hospital. Born in Marshfield, Judith was the daughter of George and Helen (Darling) Stout. She grew up in the Coos Bay area and moved in the early 1990s to the California Bay area, where she worked in property management. She returned to Albany to care for her mother. Mrs. Stout enjoyed collecting pottery. Surviving are sons Toby Aulman of Albany and Tim Aulman of San Francisco; mother Helen of Albany; and brother Jim Stout of Anchorage, Alaska. She and her husband later moved to Saginaw where they established the Saginaw Sentinal. In 1980 she helped establish the Parker County Shopper and in 1997 she and a friend founded the Parker County Advertiser. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Stout, her sister, Gean Bass Greene and her brother, Hugh Bass.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, receiving the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, China Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. The following obituary appeared in the September 22, 2001, edition of the Lorain (Ohio) Morning Journal: Los Angeles, Calif. - Dorothy "Dottie" Stout (nee Lalonde) 60, of Los Angeles, California, formerly of South Amherst, died Sunday , August 26, 1001, following a year-long struggle with brain cancer. She was born January 30, 1941, in South Amherst. She graduated from Bowling Green State University, earning her bachelor's degree and master's degrees. She graduated from Claremont Graduate School, earning her doctorate degree. She was on the faculty at Cypress College from 1974 to 2001 and spent two years at the National Science Foundation as program director for undergraduate education. While at Cypress College, she was leader of California and international geology expeditions and was a catalyst for change in earth science education. Recognizing her, the American Geophysics Union presented her the 2001 Excellence in Geophysics Education Award. She was also the recipient of the National Association of Geology Teachers' (NAGT) award, the Orange County Community College Teacher of the Year from the Department of Education and was appointed in 1990 by Gov. Deukmajian, as the first female president of the NAGT. She enjoyed traveling. Survivors include her daughters, Donna J., Deborah D. and Diana L. Steller, all of California; brothers Larry LaLonde and Edward LaLonde, both of South Amherst; sisters Sue Gonos of South Amherst, Cecelia Schake of Sonoma, California., and Yvonne Thomas of Akron; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Stout.
