I am not sure of where my great aunt Maggie strawser comes in, either Hazels sister or Hazels aunt, but I do know that her mother killed her baby, and buried it on the strawser farm. This I know, because in a coma before she died, she mentioned her mother killed her baby, wonder if this is Alice? Lot of skelitons in this family. Had to be a reason, my father hated my mothers family! Thank You, Paula By the way, sounds like a soap show huh? Maybe a book in the making! Lol!!!!

STRAWER in circleville, and i believe her brother CLINTON was listed as " NEPHEW " of BLANCHE BOLEN in franklin, ohio.. Also, i noticed a listing for ohio military men 1917--1918. for CHARLES C. STOUT, I can't help but wonder if the military has record of burial...quite a mystery after 1930, don't ever give up, and i can recommend a pro, who has performed miracles for me in ohio, ( i live in massachusetts ).. i don't mean to pry, but if you don't mind, i'm going to play with this for awhile, i hate the word " can't " and this is a test !! take care, john baker

But found out he was born in Ohio. My mother was not allowed to mention any thing on her father or mother. Any thing she knew, she took to her grave, yet she wanted me to do the genealogy on him. Now I'm curious why she couldn't talk about him. I know nothing about his family, and spent eight years finding him. Such a shame for a man who served in WW1 and lost his leg. Thanks again, Paula

Looking for some help and I hope there are some Jehu William Stout also known as John Stout descendents out there that May help me solve this mystery. Jehu (John)Willaim Stout Married Eliza Conover in 1813 in Somerset Co. New Jersey. They had children : Jane , James Nelson , Peter Stryker , Ura . I have searched for many years for my Gggrandmother Jane Stout's family connections. Although I am familiar with the Stout family because doing my wife's ancestry she is descended from Peter Stout son of Richard the first and Penelope. Here is my problem, my Gggrandfather Samuel Cook died in 1847 and was in his thirties and made his discovery very Difficult and took numerous years to find. He married Jane Stout about 1831 in Lawrence Twp. N.J. and they had 5 children Henry( my Ggrandfather) Samuel , Julia , Leticia , Sarah , James Nelson . On Jane Stout Cook died in 1884 and never Remarried. On her death cert. it states that her parents were John Stout and Eliza Stryker and that she was born in Somerset Co. New Jersey. I believe that the record on Eliza Conover that married Jehu must be correct Eliza Conover Just may be a widow of a Conover and the record doesn't show that her maiden name may in fact be Eliza Stryker. Peter Stryker Stout named both of his children's middle name Bergen after their mother's maiden name. If anyone can shed some light on this please let me know. Michael Cook Montgomery co. Penna.

Proved in Perth Amboy Feb. 11, 1724-5: Gives unto Hugh Hartshorne, sole executor for him to dispose of to his wife and children at such times and seasons and for such use as Hugh Hartshorne shall think meat. Executors shall have whole power to putting all my children out or binding them out to such places or people - the girls for 18 years and boy for 21 years. Book A, p. 329, Book of Wills. I am descended from John's daughter Frances who married Job Throckmorton about 1720. See my Throckmorton article at <http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~bart/> for their descendants.

A couple of 'trees' cite New Jersey Wills, Liber A, p.328. Does anyone have a copy of that page, or has anyone seen a copy of his Will? I am interested in knowing the names of his children as listed in his Will. Is anyone aware of his childrens' names as proven by any other document, such as a deed perhaps? Thank you for any help, Sharron Spencer
