Found the following in the book "COLUMBIA COUNTY, WISCONSIN IN 1880" by Richard D. Jenkins, copyright 1996. JOHN B. PEASE [12-20-1853], Columbia County, was the son of William C. & Angeline (McNett) Pease, of Somerset, New York. John was married on 06-25-1862 at Otsego to ALICE L> STONE [06-29-1851], New York, the duaghter of Jotham & Martha (Howarth) Stone. They had one child: Birdie E. [04-18-1865]. John Pease is a Veterinary Surgeon in Otsego, and also an agent for all kinds of farm machinery. ----- This is not my line so I don't have any further information. Maybe it will help someone.
