Hi everybody, I am new to the list and this is my first posting. The Kentucky Marriage Index list William Hopkins and Jane Stone married 9 Jan 1798. Jane is listed as the daughter of Benjamin Stone who lived near where William Hopkins lived. There is also a marriage for Robert Hopkins and Elizabeth Stone for 27 Dec 1798. Is this Elizabeth Stone the sister of Jane Stone. I do not know of a brother of William Hopkins named Robert Hopkins. Is he a relative to William, like a cousin or from what Hopkins line?
