This Matthew Stone was the son of Matthew Stone (who was a brother to Gov. Wm. Stone) This Matthew states in an affidavit, executed on Jan. 29, 1695, that he was then 42 years old. ( this was in Calvert Co., MD) His father died in Calvert Co. in 1762.
