I just wish I could claim them but I haven't done that much research on my early Stones. I so wish I could find old photos of my family that even when I go into a Cracker Barrel Restaurant I look at the old photos on the wall and wonder whose family they should belong to! LOL The earliest I go back is to Jeremiah (b. ca. 1790) and Sarah Johnson Stone in South Carolina and later moving to Randolph County, Alabama.. Since you found the photos in Alabama - ya just never know! ;-) I do know that I have come across a website that has people offering old photos to descendants. I may have the link on my other computer. This is not the site I was thinking about but maybe it will be helpful. The Old Family Photos - Old Unidentified Photos Just out of curiosity, I would love to see a scan of the photo.
