I am looking for the Jefferson Davis (JD) Stone line. I don't know too much other than they were from Kentucky. JD was born in 1861 in Clinton KY; died in 1939 in Hickman County KY. In 1883, JD married Mollie Frances Allison. JD's father, Joseph Henry Stone, and mother, Louisa Jane Melton, were also from Kentucky (I think). I have hit a road block. Older family members seem to think that Joseph's father, John Stone, was from Cork County, Ireland, and that he came to the US in the early 1800's. Looking for a John Stone is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I would appreciate any help out there. Staci Wittenauer
