GSC Can you give some more information on these 2 Stone lines. My 4th grt-grandfather Adam Stone, lived and died in Sharpsburg. Washington Co. Md in 1791. He was in Pa then moved to Md. He had eight children, Three of his sons went to the area of Lexington, Ky. The two daughters married and went to Pa and Washington D.C. The other 3 sons were last know in the Maryland area but is unknown where. The three that went to Ky remained in the Fayette Co area until they died, the majority of their descendants all stayed there too. The data I have on Adam is limited until he was in Sharpsburg. Mainly due to the fact that prior to 1781 they used the family name of Stein. Which was the German translation. Bob Stone
