He married LUCINDA EMELIA ROGERS, born 30 Dec 1824 in Georgia and died 29 Oct 1905 in Washington County, AR. My Wesley was the son of JOHN S. STONE, born 26 Nov 1789 in NC and died about 1835 in Arkansas. John married ELIZABETH ISABELLA WRIGHT, born 08 Feb 1791 in Pittsylvania County, VA and died before 1860 in Arkansas, in Clark County, KY on 27 Jul 1812. John and Elizabeth had eleven other children: SHELTON A. STONE, born 17 Sep 1816; SUZANNAH STONE, born 03 Mar 1820; JOHN DUDLEY STONE, born 25 Dec 1819; MALINDA STONE, born 30 mar 1813; JOSEPH A. STONE, born 24 Aug 1823; LEROY D. STONE, born 15 Mar 1828; WILLIS SHACKELFORD STONE, born 04 Mar 1830; THOMAS G. STONE, born 28 Apr 1832; KISIAH STONE, born 23 Nov 1817; and ISABEL C. STONE, born 09 May 1825. I have heard, but as yet have not confirmed, that JOHN S. STONE was the brother of a PARKER F. STONE and the son of an ALLEN STONE who was born in England.
