Yes, Kris, we are related! My line comes from Daniel (brother to your Nathaniel!) 's daughter Elizabeth Stone who married my many greats grandfather Joseph Livermore. I was not certain my Elizabeth was Daniel Stone's daughter because her mother was listed as Mary Ward while Danile is shown as married to a Mary Moore. It turns out that Elizabeth's mother Mary Moore had been previously married to a Ward. So it turns out Elizabeth (Stone) Livermore is daughter of Daniel, son of John, son of Gregory. >From the gedcom files I have been looking at on the world tree it looks like the Stones go back to a Philip Stone in 1265. But of course these are only names and dates. But you have mentioned a book. I wonder if it might not be available through interlibrary loan. Is it old and out of print? Am writing from very rural New Mexico! This is my first time to look into the Stones. Is the Elder John Stone the same John a 1600's Indian Land deed is recorded for? This is all so amazing!
