Cheryl, You mention a JOHN DUDLEY STONE, born 25 Dec 1819. Can you tell me anything more about him? My grandmother was named Daisy Stone (m John Bowen in Raleigh c 1895) and her parents were John L. & Mary Amis Stone who married in 1858 in NC. I think every son in the family after that must have had Dudley for a middle name and I've never been able to find out why. Thanks much. Marcie F. Bowen-Astley
