James was born in 1790, Elizabeth c1800. They married c1816 in Tennessee and migrated to Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas (in 1843). "POLLY" STONE, b. 1824, Alabama; d. Abt. 1853, Probably Hunt County, Texas; MARGARET STONE, b. December 23, 1826, Alabama; d. September 21, 1876, Freestone County, Texas; SARAH "SALLIE" STONE, b. 1829, Alabama; d. Probably Freestone County, Texas; GREENBERRY STONE, b. March 18, 1831, Johnson County, Arkansas; d. December 31, 1878, Dallas County, Texas; REDMAN STONE, b. March 19, 1832, Johnson County, Arkansas; d. November 25, 1885, Comanche County, Texas; MATILDA STONE, b. November 27, 1835, Johnson County, Arkansas; d. April 21, 1883, Comanche County, Texas; JOHN LOCK STONE, b. July 18, 1839, Barry County, Missouri; d. August 22, 1899, Zephyr, Brown County, Texas; ANDREW LARKIN STONE, b. December 25, 1841, Barry County, Missouri; d. February 03, 1874, Comanche County, Texas. Members of this family resided in Tarrant, Freestone, Comanche, Erath, Rusk, Dallas. Brown, Knox, Mason and Hunt Counties of Texas between 1843 and the 1940's. Surnames associated with the above individuals include: BURCHAM, STINNETT, RATLIFF, PRUITT, JONES, CARRUTHERS, WELCH, RUSSELL, SANDERS, HILL, RHODES, and LEE. I have info to share.
