The partriarch was also married in VT, so there is a good chance that your Stones are related to mine. I have: Thomas STONE b. ca. 1804/07 Quebec Canada m. 12 Apr 1826 in Highgate VT, Hannah DELINE b. ca. 1809/14 Quebec Canada. Children: Alexander b. ca. 1826 Simon b. ca. 1828/1831 William b. ca. 1835/37 Catharine b. 26 Mar 1838 Joshua H. b. ca. 1845 Hannah b. ca. 1850 I am descended from Simon and Emily DELINE b. ca. 1833. They were married prior to 1852. Children were Hannah, Nancy, Martha Jane (my ggm), Orlando Nelson, Melissa, Alonzo, George, Thomas and John. There is also an Alonzo STONE I have been tracking...he moved the same time as Simon to Huron Co., MI and Simon had a son named Alonzo...I think they were related, but Alonzo's father was born in England, so maybe they were cousins? At least one of Alonzo's children moved to Presque Isle Co., MI as did one of Simon's. -- Bonnie Burkhardt <[email protected]> <[email protected]> Researching: Allender/Arbo/Archibald/Bergman/Burdick/Burkhardt/Debruler/ Deline/Holden/Hathorn/Hyett/Keyser/Lashley/Long/Pervorse/ Porter/Rice/Sternbacher/Stone
