Dear STONE Listers, I want to thank everyone for trying to connect my STONES to one of the many N.E. STONE Lines. I've recently discovered that my Lewis/Louis STONE b abt 1820 Canada changed from the name DUQUETTE/DUQUET (poss. dit DESROCHES) I have his M.R. from Benson, Rutland, VT showing this. Now I have a DUQUETTE/DUQUET/DUQUAY line back to Denys DUQUET/DUQUAY and Catherine GAUTHIER in Normandie in the early 1600's and into Quebec City. I've since joined the Quebec List (very busy list) and have received lots of info. I'm leaving this list but will miss all the friendly and informative messages. Janet Ross P.S.
