HENDERSON; m. 2 Oct 1883, at the home of Justice Pinnix [Phenix? Pheonix?], near Yanceyville, Caswell Co., NC, Mary MEADOWS, b. 1863, dau. of David and Rovina MEADOWS [both dec'd. at the time of the marriage, according to the bond.] Tom and Mary lived next door to Tom's younger brother, George, on a small farm in the Brooksdale community, east of Roxboro, NC. Tom and Mary had three children: (1) Ivey STONE [male] b. ca. 1882; d. unk.; m. Grace "Gracie" ----- [EVANS?] They had four children: Franklin STONE b. ca. 1902 Denny [Dennis?] STONE b. ca. 1904 Kate [Katherine?] STONE b. ca. 1907; m. Bedford STONE, b. ca. , son of George W. "G" STONE, Jr. and Corrina COZART. [Unk. Dau.] STONE (2) James STONE b. ca. 1887; m. ----- LUNSFORD. James was a very big man, over 6'3" and 300 lbs. James and his wife had at least two children.
