Seeking info on John Stone of Bedford Co. PA born around 1758-60. Lived near Rainsburg in Friends Cove in Bedford County PA and was a farmer and cooper. John served in 11th PA Regiment and received pay 1776-81. Wife's name unknown. Children of John Stone: John F., Michael, James, Adam, Peter, Margaret and Elizabeth. Eldest son John F married Catherine Beegle of PA and is my family's line. They were Lutherans. Children of John F and Catherine lived in OH, IL and several of their children to KS.
