I am researching a Samuel Phillips who married Sarah STONE in Turnham Green, Chiswick, Middlesex, England probably about 1830. Samuel came to Buffalo, New York about 1830 and Sarah and their son Samuel (or Simon) came in 1832. Samuel and Sarah were born about 1795. Sarah's father was Samuel STONE. Their children included the above Samuel (or Simon) born about 1831, Joseph born about 1836 in Buffalo, who moved to Algona, Iowa and married a Mary Ellen Mack. He was in the Civil War from Green bay, Wisconsin where he also lived. George, born about 1838 and who lived in Green Bay, Wisc. also and was also in the Civil War. I don't know whom he married. Florence (or Francis) born about 1833 who married James Scott. Sarah, born about 1840 who married Hiram Harlow in 1866 in Green Bay. I would be interested in learning of anyone researching any Phillips in the Buffalo and/or Green Bay area.
