    3. To all who sent me questions regarding my John Stone, I have no idea if he is really from Richmond, a Stone researcher made the suggestion to me, and I thought I'd ask around. All I know of John is that he was born about 1750 in VA and that he married Mary ? abt 1775. I am told they were married in Hanover, VA, but I am not sure where that info came from. John and his family were in Spartanburg, SC about 1790. I have 15 names for his children, but highly doubt they are all his. It is said that he had 13 children. John son, Aaron (relationship not proven to my knowledge), who is my ancestor, was born about 1780, and I am told he was born in Pittsylvania Co., VA. Once again, I am not sure where this info came from. I am told that my line ties in with Joshua Stone of Pittsylvania Co., VA and Asher Stone b. 1806, also from Pittsylvania Co. The Stone researcher I mentioned earlier, is a descendant of Asher Stone, and sent me a paper that suggests Asher's line comes from the Richmond County Stones. If anyone knows of a John who was born about the 1750's, married a Mary, and lived in SC, please let me know :) Then again, maybe his father or grandfather where from there. You can see more about my Stones on my web page: http://www.aros.net/~stone/webpage.htm Thanks, Anjanette
