    3. Irene: My 3rd greatgrandfather is Otis H. Stone (Aft.1863-1918) and he had a brother named Lyman Thomas Stone (1848-1867). Their 5th greatgrandparents are David & Ursula Stone. This is where are familybranches connect. They are the parents of your ancestor Gregory and my ancestor Simon. I would like to share info with you. If there are other Mass. Stone Researchers that are decended from David & Ursula, we should think about sharing info in this public forum to help others. I wonder where the Lyman comes from, since it seems to have been used by several family "branches". My Stones are mostly from Massachusetts (descended from Gregory). Was Lyman a more common name than I thought? We also had, years ago, the Lyman School (for delinquent boys) in Mass. - so it is entirely possible it was just a popular name at the time. > >_________________________________________________________________ >Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. > > >============================== >To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, >go to: >http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
