Searching for descendants of the above couple who came to Halifax, Nova Scotia c1855-56. Edward and Mary settled eventually on the Cobequid Rd., (Lower) Sackville, Halifax Co., but some of their children settled in Cumberland and Oxford Counties, in NS. Descendants are all over North America now. So, if you descend from this couple, please make contact. Nearly a dozen of us, some third cousins, have come together to pool information and now have lots of info ... some very surprising indeed! What is his father's name? Have STONE in Quebec early and later in Ontario. Prob. came from NY or VT late 1700s.
