Hannah (Merwin) (3) John (of Milford), b. Guilford, 14 August 1644, d. 1686, m. Susanna (Newton) (dr. Rev. Roger Newton) (2) John Stone, m. Mary (___) -- John Stone, an orig. prop. of Hartford, removed early to help found the orig. compact at Guilford, there by wife Mary had John, Samuel, Nathaniel, Thomas, and Noah (who d. unmarried). John d. 1687. He was probably a brother of William Stone of Guilford. Both are among the freemen, 1669. Savage.) John was son of (1) Rev. Samuel Stone, non-conformist divine, of Hereford-on-the-Wye, Herefordshire, Eng. Don't know if you connect, but it's a start. Priscilla
