My grandfatheom was Otis Lyman Stone. I wonder where the Lyman comes from, since it seems to have been used by several family "branches". My Stones are mostly from Massachusetts (descended from Gregory). Was Lyman a more common name than I thought? We also had, years ago, the Lyman School (for delinquent boys) in Mass. - so it is entirely possible it was just a popular name at the time. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp.
