Jan--Thanks, its our Stone family. Gandus Stone should read Candus, after her grandmother Candus Stone. Charlotte is Charlotte "Lotty" Rogers, sister of Candus and widow of John Rogers of Forsyth Co., GA. The 15 year old Henry Stone is living with grandparents Wiley and Candus Stone--his father Wesley KIA in Civil War. Questions: Do you know if Robert Stone is related? Does the 1880 census show which of the Stone(s) or wives was born in NC? Will appreciate even a negative reply.
