Looking for John Stone from PA. Does anyone know of ANY Stones from PA? I've posted several times with specifics and watched the mail and I am beginning to wonder if I'll ever get any information. Cora
Cora, My great grandfather, John W. Stone, was from Virginia now West Virginia, Preston County and died their about 1930. He lived in PA for a time as well as Marion County, Ohio. There may be no connection. There are lots of John Stones. Please give me some dates and any other information and I will so some searching as I continue my search for my relatives. We all try to help each other but need dates, locations, cities or counties where he may have lived, and even little pieces of information that may not seem that important. Lets hope we can find something. Hope to hear more or you posting on rootsweb or email me. Larry E. Cora, 'John Stone is a little vague' I'm sorry, I missed your previous. Would you mind providing specifics again or a link back to your original post? My husband's STONE family first appeared in southwestern PA during the early nineteenth century. However there are two STONE familes living in the same area during this time. I'd be happy to help you. Pam --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!? Sign-up for Video Highlights of 2002 FIFA World Cup
