Barbara, I was excited to see another Stone family from Loudoun Co., VA! My GG Grandfather was born there and then moved to Frederick County, MD, as the following "ahnentafel" style genealogy shows (double the number finds the father, add one to find the mother). Perhaps your Benjamin is my William's younger brother or cousin. Not that it helps you find his parents because I have almost no information on William. However, if either of us finds anything, we should definitely share it! I'd also be interested to know if anybody on the list has any information on my great-uncle JESSE STONE, son of Daniel E. Stone, Jr., who moved to Texas I believe. The story I always heard was that he disappeared, my grandfather W. Owings Stone (Jesse's brother), had no idea where he was for many years.
